Pupil Distance (PD)

Your PD (pupillary distance) is the distance between the centre of your pupils, measured in millimetres.

Knowing your pupilary distance helps us to centre the lenses over your eyes to give you the best possible vision.

Your pupillary distance will either be measured as a 'binocular PD' (a 2 digit number between about 50 and 75) or a 'monocular PD' which is an individual measurement between the centre of each pupil and the bridge of the nose. If your optician has supplied a monocular PD (e.g. 30/30) then add the two numbers and enter them here (please email us the monocular PD).

Your pupil distance measurement is important if you have a high prescription or require varifocal lenses.
