WHY SHOP WITH METSUKI? - REASON 6

Value for Money Glasses

At Metsuki we don’t believe you need to compromise on quality to get great value!

The first thing you need to know…

Wherever you buy your favourite brand of glasses like Ray-Ban, Prada or Oakley, be it online or on the High Street, be it in the UK or the US you can be absolutely sure of one thing. There is only one source of manufacture and supply for any given brand worldwide, and give or take differences in the currency exchange rates all retailers are buying there frames for more or less the same price.

So how come we can deliver so much better value than the High Street?

Low Rent Premises

Metsuki operate from low rent premises in a small market town and not from a prime Shopping Mall or a class A High Street shop-front.

We calculate that for each pair of glasses our cost of rent, rates, insurances, heat and light is as low as £2.00 per pair sold. For a big name high street retailer their cost can range between £20-30 per pair for exactly the same product.

This is a direct saving we pass on to you.

Efficient Work Processes

We began with a blank sheet of paper and designed our work processes, stock room computer and communication systems to give a great customer experience and to be as efficient and scalable as possible.

Debt & Equity

We don’t have bank loans so there’s no cost of bank interest in the cost of your glasses. We don’t have external shareholders or venture capital funding, so no annual dividends to pay out. The people that own our company are the same people that come to work in our company every day.

Marketing

Happy, satisfied customers; that’s the basis of our marketing strategy. If you like what we do then tell your family, friends and work colleagues. If you don’t like what we’ve done tell us and we’ll do our best to fix it.

We don’t do press, television and radio advertising and we absolutely don’t use third party affiliate or referral schemes, these can add as much as £20 or more to your glasses.
