I bought a pair of glasses from Metsuki a year ago. The quality of the product and service in obtaining the product was top notch. In calling recently as I needed repairs, the Metsuki team was incredibly helpful and gave some of the best after-sales service I’ve ever had. Great work Metsuki!!

I did cast some doubt when I first read the review as most of them were 5 stars, however, I had decided to go for a try anyway due to the attraction of the frame and it was cheaper to get it online. I am impressed with the service, they kept you up-to-date with your order, and if you raised an issue, they would respond very quickly (within 24-hr I would say), which shows good care. I gave 4 stars because it is sometimes hard to tell whether the frame fits your face only by looking at the photos and the online information. I like my frame, before I ordered it, I searched photos on the internet, especially the one with model wearing it, I was so sacred it would not fit me, but it turned out to be fine! However, you can argue that it is a bit risk taking due to the amount of money you spend on the actual lenses, unless you order frame only! However, in gerneral speaking, the service is good! And the lenses are fine, and cheaper compared to high street shops!!!

How many companies promise excellent service but actually deliver? Metsuki have been brilliant! Orderd my glasses on-line and they arrived in 5 days. My mum had her eyes tested at Boots the week before me and she was still waiting for her glasses two weeks later. You’d think that the trade-off with using an on-line retailer would be the service but not in this case. My glasses weren’t supplied with the storage bag/lens cloth. Once I’d notified Metsuki I had one the next day. Highly recommended.

After searching the internet for a particular pair of Versace frames I found them on several websites. However, after reading the positive reviews on the Metsuki site I decided buy them from Metsuki. I was not dissapointed. I had a confirmation email about my order immediately. The next day I was informed that as the frames would need to come from Italy they would take appoximately 5 working days and giving me the option to cancel. I chose to continue with the order and the glasses arrived with a week. They were packaged extremely well and I am so glad I chose to buy them from Metsuki. I would recommend them and would use them again in the future, although I only purchased frames so cannot comment on lenses.

I cautiously approached this process. At the end of the day my experience with Metsuki Glasses Direct was flawless. I ordered two pairs of prescription Glasses, one foreach of distance and reading.
I received and now I’m using the best glasses that I’ve ever used.
Top quality components and workmanship.
Most important they were precisely done at Metsuki as per the originally provided Eye test prescription.
I shall elaborate here on some details that from what I see have ensured this excellent outcome.
1- I asked my local optometrist at the main shopping centre for an eye test and glasses prescription, the Optometrist refused to provide me the PD value. Their reason was” this is a strange request. They do not encourage going for someone else service for glasses.
2- I asked another optometrist for an eye test and the PD distance for both the distance and the reading. I made it clear from the start that my intention is to obtain glasses from some other place. My request was accepted.
3- I selected the 2 pairs of frames.
4- I sent a scan of my Eye test to Metsuki Glasses Direct. I requested a check out of the selected Frames and the best suitable lenses against my own Eye test certificate.
5- The Pre sale customer service is efficient and honest. I liked the Ticket correspondence based system.
6- I became confident after this dialogue that my order is with expert and safe hands.
7- Within one week I received the registered little parcel with signature from Metsuki Glasses Direct in Scotland.
8- The following day I wrote to Metsuki to feed back on my order. I wrote P E R F E C T. That is for the Glasses, for the delivery, and on top of all the service.

I seldom write reviews, however having read some of the reviews on other websites about Metsuki (stating that it seemed strange as all the reviews on here were positive) I decided I would give them a shot anyway, and I’m glad I did.
Having searched for the type of frames I was after Metsuki was the cheapest by far. Ordering them was made simple and although I didn’t have access to my PD a quick call to Metsuki and they advised how I could measure this, as well as pointing me to their website which explains how to do this easily also.
anyway, ordered the glasses, got an automated email stating the next steps, frames weren’t in stock (which wasn’t a problem) as Metsuki emailed me to advise and gave me the option to continue or cancel the order.
I got an email when they arrived at their lab and then the glasses were sent that day. I just received them and have typed this review whilst wearing them. So far so good.

Received my Ted Baker prescription glasses. Very pleased with the communication, quality and the price. Significantly cheaper than Vision Express.
Only minor point is I asked for delivery to my work address but order was shipped to my home address. Not a big deal, but thought I’d mention it.
